About this event
As a photographer, sometimes we want a “side gig” to keep a steady income. If you have good information and the right equipment to photograph real estate, you can make some decent money fairly quickly as a “side gig,” or full-time. A real estate photographer’s job is about getting potential home buyers into the house after seeing high quality photography.
How do I break into the real estate industry as a photographer, or how can I improve as a real estate photographer? What equipment do I need? How do I photograph a home in a way that attracts business? How do you build a reputation for photographing real estate? What can I expect to make photographing real estate?
During a Lunch-and-Learn session on September 10, 2026, at 12 noon, Gena Ford will guide you through the steps you need to get started in residential real estate photography or make improvements in it. Gena has been photographing residential real estate in the metro Atlanta area since 2015 in addition to portrait, head shot and event photography. She has worked with over 50 realtors in the metro Atlanta area and photographed thousands of houses from small ranch homes to large luxury homes.
